Ok. In trying to be more proactive before I hit the farm and get pretty busy…we will be setting up a tent at the next Radford City farmer’s market this Saturday, June 8th. It runs from 8-1. I am hoping to offer loose romaine leaves, head lettuce, salad mix, braising greens, kale, and Chinese cabbage heads. Maybe we’ll see you there!
What an insanely busy day! So busy, I never had time to post that today was our first ever day at the farmer’s market…as a vendor, of course. Tonight, we were in Pulaski. Crazy hectic with harvesting, cleaning and packing, a bazillions thanks to my home girl Maggie who helped me with all of the aforementioned and then came out to help sell stuff (she even landed me my first sale)! Also, many thanks to Will, Lacie, Carter and Riley who fixed delicious sandwiches and fed us both. It was a ton of work, preparations and nerves, but I actually had a great time at the market, met some cool folks. We do it all again on Saturday, this time in Radford. Hopefully, I will be able to post more later.
Just after setup.
