So, after working a bit on Saturday and a Sunday fest and family visit, I got back in the garden to prepare for the winter season. Dead plants were finally removed, more weeds pulled, and the empty areas were tilled. Cover crop seeds were cast about with a muttered hope for growth. Yes, I know, I am getting pretty late with that part of things. Such is how it goes when you try to farm on the weekends. Luckily, this patch of mild weather with a little rain might just help me out. Is it weird to want leaf litter for Christmas or your birthday?
- Worked into the gloaming…
