Labor day labors

Marge, Jordan and I enjoyed a weekend of family and friends…so we actually HAD to do a LITTLE bit of labor on Labor Day. Marge battled the humidity and had quick, nimble fingers pick over 20 lbs of yellow cherry and pear tomatoes! Deeeeelicious.

Jordan and I worked in the garden to haul out all the weeds that got pulled over the weekend. Then we FINALLY spread out some of the leaf litter. Actually, we spread out A LOT of the leaf litter. Many, does the garden look great. This look is what we were after from the start but never had time to accomplish. Many thanks to friends and family who helped to reclaim these planting beds. It looks great.
